A Mum Who Gave Birth To Triplets Last Year Has Found Out She Is Now Pregnant With Twins

Megan Haggerty, a 30-year-old mother of four who gave birth to triplets last year, is now expecting twins. Megan Haggerty naturally triplets (sons, Clyde, Matthew, and Thomas) and her two-year-old daughter with Clyde Bodge, who also has three children from a previous marriage — six-, eight-, and 10-year-old girls.

Bodge has been a stay-at-home father to his four youngest children since he lost his job as a heating and air conditioning technician in February, and he will add twins to the mix in July. He stated, “I’m genuinely excited. I love kids.”

Haggerty’s triplets are fraternal, and the odds of them occurring naturally were approximately 1 in 8,000; for identical triplets, the odds increase to approximately 1 in a million. However, uts are prevalent in both Ms. Haggerty and Mr. Bodge’s families. And once a woman has t to uts, her likelihood of doing so again increases. Her grandmother’s cousin had triplets, and her grandmother had twins. In the meantime, Mr. Bodge’s great-grandmother gave birth to quadruplets, and several sets of twins have been born on his side of the family.

Despite the fact that the family has taken everything in stride, there have been difficult times. Haggerty stated that triplets are extremely challenging because humans only have two arms and two legs, whereas infants appear to want to be simultaneously. Haggerty missed a significant amount of work due to the time-consuming nature of caring for young children during her 90-minute commute between her home and corporate office. However, the couple’s finances are currently their primary concern. She remarked, “The triplets were incredibly challenging at first because you only have two hands and two legs, and they all wanted to be at the same time.”

Bodge stated that he st s due to the lingering effects of a work t that caused a uss, so he was able to stay awake all night and work. Bodge admits, “Honestly, at first it was quite difficult, but now my day is so fluid and I have them on a wonderful schedule. The majority of people may find it frightening, but I’m really looking forward to it. To make ends meet, we’re going to have to maintain our composure. I am prepared to work at night.” Initially, it was difficult in many ways, but the couple is now considerably more at ease. They have prior experience with triplets and are no longer as confused as they once were.
