I love to see parents spending quality time with their kids. In a world that moves so fast, and when parents have so much going on in their day-to-day, it’s not easy to take a step back and take time out for your little ones. But, a part of parenting means you pick and choose your priorities and put your family first, always.
Many parents say that aside from helping their children with homework, learning the basics of life, and shaping them into becoming great human beings, they love to do things that the family enjoys as a whole. This can be picnicking outdoors every Saturday, going out for a game of catch to the park, or something like signing up for family swimming lessons once a week. It’s so important to do something you love, as a family.
An example of a family that pursues its passions together is Josh Turner’s clan. Everyone knows Josh, the superb country singer who has given multiple hits and memorable performances for his fans to remember. He is also known as the ideal family man, involving his kids in everything that he does, and even honing their skills to help them become excellent singers just like him.
Josh has four sons: Hawke, Hampton, Colby, and Marion. They’re still very young, perhaps the eldest of the four being about 13-14 years old, but boy they can sing! You can get a sense of how good they are from the video shared below. In the clip, you see the boys lined up on a small stage and ready to sing their hearts out.
Matching in collared shirts and jeans, the four boys are ready to serenade the crowd with a gospel song that everyone loved. Three of them are holding mics, and the eldest of the four is singing into a mic on a stand because he’s also strumming the guitar! You can tell that the boys are nervous and shy. They can barely look out into the crowd without feeling awkward, but that doesn’t stop them from giving it their best and making their parents proud.
Given the performance, you can tell that mom and dad have worked hard on their kids to help them feel confident enough to get up on stage and sing to their heart’s content. These boys have great voices, and we’re sure they’ll continue to follow in their dad’s footsteps!
