A lovely conversation between a father and a kid recorded on camera has gone viral.
The TikTok video has almost 17 million views as of this writing.
Aaron Gouveia shared a TikTok video of his nine-year-old son, Sam Gouveia, wearing a garment he produced during sewing class.
The video shows Sam entering his parents’ room, clutching a garment he produced during his sewing session at the Franklin Mill Store.
Sam has been attending sewing courses for over a year, according to Aaron, and was inspired to start sewing by his great-aunt Val.
In the popular video, Aaron asks his kid about the shirt he created, and Sam responds proudly.

Aaron puts on the shirt and proudly displays the 1970s collar while Sam looks on.
Sam also revealed how he constructed the back of the garment, saying that he did it himself and got stuck a few times but kept working on it.
When Aaron wonders why he selected that design, Sam answers that it sticks out and looks well with jeans, which his father always wears.
Finally, Aaron praises him for the shirt, and Sam can be seen smiling broadly.

Sam had come a long way from being harassed in kindergarten for wearing red nail polish and loved sewing.
Fortunately, Sam’s parents encouraged him and taught him about self-love and acceptance.
«He taught me that anyone can do anything,» Sam says of his father.
This is not Sam’s first viral video. When he was nine, his enthusiastic response to receiving his own Singer sewing machine for his birthday went viral on the Internet.
People from all around the world have donated fabric to express their affection for him and his passion for sewing.
Despite the fact that he is the only male in his sewing class, Sam continues his path of learning to sew and developing his enthusiasm for sewing.
«In the end, I think it’s just the human aspect of it.» Seeing someone do something they like, especially a child, and doing it without shame «That’s pretty amazing,» Dad Aaron stated.
«If you’re yourself, you can do anything,» Sam said.
