Charlieanne Broadhurst is a 28-year-old resident of the English city of Wellingborough, who clearly could take part in the competition for the most incredible reunion story with an ex. She shared her story with the Daily Mail.
Since high school, Charlieanne has been in love with a boy named Ryan Hill. At the age of 15, they started dating each other, and then they moved in together and began planning a family.
When the girl was 20, she and Ryan had their first child – a girl named Cassie-Lee. Behind her, two more babies were born – Kaira-Jay and Siena – now they are seven and five years old.
I loved him since childhood, and we were together from the age of 15, but at that moment we were going through hard times.
The man began to live separately but continued to visit his family and spend time with his daughters. In 2018, during one of his visits, Charlie started a conversation with him and, as the girl admits, she herself did not notice how the communication between the two parents turned into flirting – as a result, Ryan stayed with her for the night.
I didn’t even think I was pregnant. I went to the doctor just in case, because I felt really bad. And he told me that I would have a child. My jaw dropped like that.
She scanned my stomach for about 15 minutes, and then right in the corner she found another point. She said, “I have something to tell you. In fact, there may be another gestational sac.”
I didn’t know how to accept it. Gemini is a miracle. I have always dreamed of twins. But the triplets are wow.
On the way home, she called Ryan, who “nearly crashed his car when he heard this.”
He just shut up. And we literally couldn’t talk to each other for 12 hours while trying to accept it.
Soon the assumption of triplets was confirmed – and the couple began to announce to relatives about a new pregnancy.
I told everyone that I had a one-night stand because it just so happened that he was with a man with whom I already had children. At first, no one even believed, because everyone knew that Ryan and I had separated and did not meet at the time of conception.
Ryan and Charlienn then brought their daughters together to talk about how they would be big sisters to their three little ones. At the 20-week period, the sex of the children became known. And this news made the couple truly happy.
I had no idea who was there. I thought everyone would be girls and it would be really hard. And when they told me that there were two boys and a girl, it was just happiness. I cried with joy when I found out.
Charlieanne’s pregnancy was very difficult. Doctors constantly checked her condition, took tests and did weekly ultrasounds. And at a period of 33 weeks, the girl was announced that the babies had stopped growing and an urgent need to do a caesarean section – and Ryan almost missed it.
The triplets were born on May 31, 2019. The boys Carter and Kion were identical twins and weighed about one and a half kilograms, while the girl Riana weighed almost two kilograms. All three were rushed to the intensive care unit because they had an infection.
The kids have been at home with their parents and sisters for a long time – and you won’t envy their mother’s daily routine.
For the first month, Charlienn breastfed for eight hours a day, and now she gets up at four in the morning to run the washing machine twice and cook breakfast for six children.
